FOODIES was born out of a passion for all things food. Inspired by the food halls of Europe and cities like San Francisco and New York, founders Kathey Pear and Jonathan Kates developed a concept for an outdoor festival that would combine the best things in life into one wonderful experience. In a farm-to-table style setting, visitors will enjoy a variety of chef-prepared cuisines from around the globe, sip Colorado’s best craft beers and wines, listen to live music, enjoy cooking demos and children’s activities, and visit food, craft and art vendors.
The curated nature of FOODIES will allow visitors to experience innovative and creative elements of the culinary world without leaving the Front Range. A major part of this experience is engaging the local community to enjoy the experience, actively think about sustainability and local products, and build relationships within the community by giving back to select non-profits. The FOODIES experience is designed to engage, delight, and expose visitors to new things, all inspired by food.
